Vroom Vroom!

Soooooo, I saw someone post this picture on facebook:

And I was like "GAAAAHHHH!!!! I should make these!!!!!!", so after thinking about it all day, I decided to :) First I asked my sister if I should use Snickers bars or MilkyWays and she said Snickers, so I stopped at Meijers on my way home and picked up everything...

Instead of using frosting to hold the stuff to the mini bars, I just put them in the microwave for a few seconds and then stick the stuff on.... I actually exploded a snickers after putting it in for 15 seconds... so after that I put them in for 10 instead haha X) They didn't turn out as amazing as they did in the picture, as you can see...

Also, they weren't really all that tasty.... Perhaps they would be better with MilkyWays. I made like four total and after that my sister and I decided we'd just eat the ingredients separately, which is totally fine because I just wanted to do it for this blog :) Besides, it's pretty cute despite it's lack of picture perfect-ness!

PACKAGE!!!!!

As you know, you sent me a package for Valentine's Day, but it had to come late. Well I just received it the other day :) And I took a bunch of pictures to put on here :)

First there was a funny valentine's day card that is literally a perfect representation of you....

Yeah.... definitely not for my body at all... X) Moving on... I got a postcard from Tokyo too :)

It's very cool and I'd bet it'd be amazing to go there, I'm glad you got to :) Last, but not least you got me some chopsticks, which my sister and I had a lot of fun with :)

This was me trying to use a ponytail holder first... Then Melis showed me how to do it

Cute double buns! :)

My Trip To Grand Rapids

So this past weekend I went with a friend to Grand Rapids to visit RACHEL!!!! We did all sorts of stuff over the weekend and we even took some pics! So I guess here's a walk through of what we did this weekend :)

So FIRST when I got there, which was around 7ish, we weren't really sure what we should do, so we discussed a few options... and then we decided to go bowling!!! Neither of us had gone in a super long time so we went to the nearest bowling alley and they had a deal where it was like "bowl for two hours" for whatever price. We picked that and played four or five games! It was epic.

Morgan vs. Rachel! She basically beat me every time...... I'm really bad at bowling haha. However, in my defense, my first game wasn't bad... but neither was hers... She was a lot better at bowling than she let on!

Getting ready to bowl/being silly:

Bowling in action!

After all the two hours of throwing balls around.... It's tiresome!

After those fun times, we went back to her house, showered up and I braided our hair so that in the morning our hair would be crimpy! Here's what it looked like in the morning:

With our hair all ready, we were able to go to the movies, where we went to see Oz!

While everyone said it was awesome and great and terrific, Rachel and I agreed it was just okay. In the morning on Monday, even the radio stations were saying it was super good and that it was so successful that they want to make another one. But we thought it dragged on in some parts, I especially didn't like the beginning when Oz was in the tornado before he landed in Oz.... there were spikes of wood going through his basket on all sides, like 20 of them or so and they made it super dramatic, but the balloon was FULLY INTACT the entire time. That whole part kinda turned me off of the whole phenomena. And as soon as I'm not amused by something, it takes a lot to get me back on track. Also, there were a lot of other parts that were frustrating to me, but I can save that for another day. It was a pretty cool experience overall I suppose. We also went into one of those photo booth things and got our pictures taken. It was funny because we thought they would do one picture at a time, but it was a 3 second count between each of the four pictures, which totally caught us off guard.

After that we hung out and watched Wreck It Ralph at her house. It was funny because we both agreed that we liked that better than Oz... X) But oh well, they were both good movies. After that we decided to get all ready for our fancy dinner date night! So we got all dressed up. We started getting ready an hour early, because you know how girls are and getting ready, but we ended up only using like 20 minutes of it :O So we took some pictures :)
 Here was our favorite :)

We went outside to take a picture but it was dark, so wasn't as fancy as we thought...

Then of course come the silly faces...

Taking some pictures sitting at a table thinking...

But alas, our fun and games with taking pictures had to end for now, since it was time to go! We went to the super duper classy expensive five-star restaurant called The Chop House!

When we were seated, we were given out menus..... but they were iPADS!!!!! :O Complete with a fancy case to keep them neat and crazy awesome touch interactions for optimal viewing experience!

First there was a long description of the history of the restaurant and it said all this stuff like "blah blah best ever restaurant blah blah blah food is good blah blah" but it wasn't of much interest to my comrade and I. So we flipped to the important part.... FOOD! It's a bit hard to see, but these were the appetizers.

We ended up getting crab cakes, topped with fried chives, and they looked like this:

Next was the Soup and Salad page....

I ended up getting a Wedge Salad and Rachel got Lobster Bisque... but unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of both of them :/ But moving on, next were the entrees:

Remember when you cooked me that filet mignon and I never got to eat it? Well I thought I just might finally get to try it.... So that's what I got :)

Rachel and I decided to get sides too, and we got broccoli and mashed potatoes :)

Rachel's half of the table (Mine wasn't that interesting, just a mini steak on a plate)

Afterwards, they gave us the menus back so we could order dessert, which is a must, of course!

Om nom nom nom nom.... Rachel got this New York Cheesecake:

And I figured their ice cream was gonna be super fancy so I wanted to try it:

OH MY GOD THE ICE CREAM WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER!!!! I got to choose from like 10 flavors, and I was allowed three scoops.... The flavors you see here are Vanilla (top), Tiramisu (bottom right-ish), and Gingersnap Bourbon (left). Best choice I have ever made. Ever. They went so well together, and were sooooo good apart too. And even just the vanilla was delicious too, like better than normal vanilla... But I really couldn't pick a favorite between these three, they were so delicious.

My ice cream and Rachel's cheesecake, which was also a success :)

Afterward, Rachel said I should check out the bathroom because they were so fancy.... it was crazy how fancy it was. Normal bathrooms have paper towels or blow dryers, but this one had individual hand towels that you put in a little bin after you were done!!

Then there were all these things, that were completely free for the taking.... Hand lotion, mouthwash, hair spray, tampons.... they really wanted you to feel good at this place, it was super cool.

And of course, look at that mirror! All wooden around the edges. The counter and sink was also super modern and fancy, and they have that fancy art in the background. Obviously the main point of this picture was the decorations... ;)

After this we went home and relaxed :) We watched a bunch of YouTube videos and enjoyed the rest of the weekend :) Overall, it was super fun and it even seemed like more of a vacation than my spring break :) And I guess, with that, I say CHEERS! :)
