The Day You Left

We got to skype one last time before you leave for a while, and I was grateful that you settled down enough to let me take one semi-good picture of you :) Besides the fact that you look like you're scheming up a plot in your head to take over the world, and you're not looking anywhere near the camera, I still got to see your radiant smile before you're gone.

Then we got to call each other the next day on and off, and then when I finally had you to myself for a while, my mom cut off my phone so she could transfer my number to the phone she was giving me. Haha I'm glad you didn't say anything you weren't supposed to while you thought my mom was me and I was joking when I said "Who's this?" But anywho, she thought you were cute, and you'll get to meet her when you get back. What was the sad part about the whole thing was that I didn't get to call you back after because you had already gone... :( You sent me a few short texts though, and I guess that will hold me over until the next time we can talk. Meanwhile, I am at my computer drinking this hot chocolate I made to keep me warm. I melted some white chocolate chips in it! :)

So I don't know if Morgan told you about this, but since it doesn't snow over by you we decided to meet up and go outside and play in the snow and take a picture to send you. We got all dressed up for it and we eve made a snowman, look!!

It's meeee Morgan!!!! I also have another picture of us in the snow. We decided to get really crazy and get pictures in our bathing suits. But the joke was on us because it was a blizzard out! Check out this sweet pic!

Tommy Tuxedo

So you know that I live with a cat and a dog, and maybe you know about the bunny? Now you do, if you didn't before. The dog's name is Toby, the bunny's name is Trogdor, and the cat's name is Tommy. This post is going to be all about Tommy!

Look at him, all proper-like. He's a fancy man... er.... cat.

While I was eating nachos today, he seemed pretty interested. So I gave him one.

"Can I haz a nachos?"

"I can haz a nacho!"

He was so excited about it that he was continuously mewing during his consumption of the nacho... But he didn't eat the chip, only the meat. So I gave it to Toby who I think can be described perfectly by this photo...

So.... this is basically the only picture of us.... It was right outside the Ghirardelli shop in San Diego and some lady took it for us :) I know you said you don't like the way you look in it, but I think you look dashing ^.^

That was a pretty awesome night, the night right before I left... I bought 20 dollars worth of those chocolates, but unfortunately they all melted in your car :(

Introduction

Dear Montez,

You chose the fate of serving our country in the military. Which I hate.... but appreciate. And a lot of the nation appreciates it too, even if they don't know it. So while you're away at sea, I'd like to start this blog to allow you to catch up on all the things you missed that have been going on in my life. I hope you enjoy reading through all this and getting to look back and what you're missing so you can remember that it will be here for you when you come back.
