So, as I was sleeping in til about 3pm, (Woah. I also slept in until 3pm...) I had this very vivid dream.... it was so clear and I remember most of everything that happened in it, and it was hilarious, so I'm gonna tell you about it....
It started off in an Applebee's-like setting, where Katie (I feel so honored to be in your dream!) and I were in a booth, and there were high tables and low tables and a bar areas, with televisions everywhere. It wasn't specifically Applebee's in my dream, but it had many striking resemblances. So Katie and I were first eating with a few friends, but being Katie and I, after we were done eating, we decided to sit down by ourselves and eat some more. (we are winners) I was debating on whether or not we should get something (since we had just eaten) and Katie ordered something like a hot chocolate or something small. Meanwhile I'm looking down at the menu and there were some barbecue boneless wings taking up an ENTIRE PAGE OF THE MENU.
Obviously this isn't the exact picture, but take out the
Applebee's logo, and it was pretty darn close.
(Also, recently I went to Applebee's and ate some of their wings for the first time, and I decided I really really liked them, (No way. I also tried their wings very recently.) so once again, this place is suspiciously like Applebee's) It was also the only picture on that page of the menu, and for some reasoning in the physics of the dream, I could not turn any of the pages. It didn't matter though because when I saw them, my eyes locked onto them like a cat staring down it's prey, and after about 6.37 seconds of thinking about it, I know that I want these wings to be in my belly. I look up as Katie finishes ordering her small something, and go to tell the waitress (whose name was Kathy and was a smoker) that I want these wings. But before I do, Katie says "Oh, and also, can I get an order of these barbecue wings?" and I was like ":OOOO Katie, that's what I want!!!! Do you want to split them with me??" And Katie, who for some reason seemed kind of annoyed about the whole second dinner thing, was like "Sure." Not much was going on for a while, I was acting like an excited little kid, and Katie was just sitting there, probably thinking "Oh God..." Then, for some reason, Kathy brings us a plate that had 8 croissants.
Pretend there are 8 there...
(Oh my God these look delicious)
Neither Katie nor I acted any surprised, so I must assume that we were expecting croissants as well. (This is why dreams are the best.) I was debating whether I want any or not (because I was full from our prior dinner experience), until, eventually I picked one up and began to eat it. About two or three bites in (which meant that there was 3/4ish of it left), Kathy comes by and says something along the lines of "Wow girl, I kinda figured you woulda been further along in those croissants than just one." I was like she knew of my bread addiction :O. I just shrugged it off and it was whatever, and she left. Once she left, Katie mocks her, "Yeah Morgan, you should be done with that one already because we're in a huge rush." And so I stare into Katie's eyes with all seriousness and proceed to shove the entire rest of the croissant into my mouth. (Hahaha this is totally what would have happened in real life.) Her eyes widen until she bursts out laughing and I wave my fingers around like I just performed a magic trick. Then Kathy came back with a plate of brownies which, I guess since they are brown like the barbecue wings, they were what we ordered? We thought it was completely normal, so again, I must assume that we were expecting these.
Before I continue, I should say that there was a high table full of guys, maybe drunk, watching football and being extremely loud and I glanced over there to find one of the guys looking at me. I paid it no mind since there was a plate of brownies in front of me. (Duh. Nothing is more important than dessert.) So Katie's and my attentions were all on the brownies (the croissants were nowhere to be seen), and Katie says "At least these are to big for you to really shove the whole thing in your mouth" (I would never ever say that. That is just a challenge... one that I don't think you would ever lose.) (Katie knows not to say this in real life, but in this dream she somehow thought that I couldn't do it (Oh.. yeah. I guess I should have read ahead.)) So I reply with "Nah, I'm sure I could fit one of the smaller ones in my mouth, let's see if we can find one." We are looking at the plate of brownies for a smallish one and for some reason they are numbered in our minds and we both say "NUMBER SEVEN" and I pick up the brownie that I guess was number seven, and I shamelessly shove the entirety of it in my mouth. This time, perhaps because Katie and I have the same brain, (If that already hasn't been proved through this dream and these comments) I got to see my shove the brownie in my mouth from her view, which was pretty awesome. While I have my mouth filled, and once my Katie-vision was over, I glanced over and saw the same guy looking at me and grinning in success and I knew he knew what I did. So I just smiled at him and did one of those reverse fist pumps, like in this picture:
I had a different picture picked out, but when I saw this one,
I knew I had to pick it.
So Katie was laughing at me, that guy was giving me a huge grin, and overall the atmosphere was filled with joyous celebration.
Then there was.... a DREAM SWITCH-UP!!!!!!!!!
All of a sudden, I was at homecoming sophomore year with you and we were dancing to Aerosmith's "Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" and I said I couldn't look at you, you asked me why not, and I said "Because your eyes are too pretty." Then you said "Awww thank you" and gave me a big ol' hug. :)
The End :)
While I was searching for pictures of brownies, I thought these looked amazing:
Also these with the Oreos inside! I must try this!
