The Night Katie Almost Died

So Katie and I were just chatting up a storm about things, and she notified me that she needed to grab her laundry, which is outside of her apartment in another building very, very far away from where she lives. This is where the story begins....

*Fade in*
Katie: I've got to grab my clothes and go back to my apartment
I'll text you when I'm there.
me: Oki doki
Katie: Or message you I mean
me: drive safe
Katie: Oui
*Fade out*

So time is passing by and I'm not too worried about her, in fact, I am working on an email to you during this time, so I keep myself occupied as I wait for her return....

*Fade in*
Katie: Im back
Barely alive
me: What happened?
Those creepy kids?
Katie: No
me: Are you okay?

*Morgan is worried; anxiously staring at the chat box as it says 'Katie is typing...' on and off but nothing is popping up*

Katie: My basket was so full that it broke while I was walking and in an attempt to not get my brand new clean cloths all over the soaking wet ground I sort of ended up underneath them haha
 *relief spreads across Morgan's face*
me: Oh God Katie, I was actually worried about you lol
Katie: Haha no
I was just being an idiot
me: Hahahahahaha
Katie: But in other news my clothes are clean
and not wet
My back and hair on the other hand...
me: phew
Katie: I knowww
That could have been disastrous

This was the day, the very day, that Katie risked her life for dryness of her clean clothes. While I thought she was running, ducking, and jumping her way to her apartment to escape the clasps of a malignant passerby, it could be argued that she encountered the same level of danger as she would during a REAL threat. So our hero Katie persevered through the vulnerability of those few minutes, and now she leads a life of triumph. The end.
